California Dreamin'

In August we took Max on his first road trip to Oceanside, California!  My dad and step-mom have a time share there and we had a blast.

First Boat Ride!

Kyle's brother, Todd and his wife Jena took us out on their boat.  We love going out to Utah lake!  If you can look past the dead bodies and mosquitos... just kidding just kidding, it's actually pretty dang nice!  Kyle loves to go boating any chance we get, he loves his skiing and wake boarding, ya know.

This was Max's first time on a boat, and definitely not the last.

It was Tates first time, too!

Max's Lady Friend and the Chalk Art Festival

Max went on his first date with his lady friend Paisley.  They don't realize it yet, but someday they will be one in holy matrimony.

Max still thinks girls have cooties, but he'll get over it.

We went to the Pleasant Grove Strawberry Days Fair and tried out our new baby carrier thingy.  Kyle was so excited!

Then we went to the Gateway Mall to the Chalk Art Festival!  It was so awesome!  I wanted to break out in Mary Poppins songs the whole time...  

In honor of the new movie coming out.  (Kyle might pee his pants, he's so excited to see it)

Max was overwhelmed with the awesomeness.

We had a blast!  Makes me really want to do one next year... we'll see, we'll see.

A Visit from the Soto's

My brother just graduated from the University of Minnesota in Hospital Administration!  Woot!  We're so proud of him!

He and his saucy wife Stacy and their little girl Ella came to visit for a while, we love love LOVE IT when they come to visit :)

A Few Peterson Family Adventures

Max's best buddy Parker came all the way from Colorado to visit him!  They enjoyed some delicious grub at Burger Supreme and then played a heated game of bowling.

Parker and his assistant Cam rolled their ball determined for a strike while Max and his assistant Kyle plotted their next move.  

After that we went to our beautiful cousins wedding reception.  The lovely Mrs. Miller was there and hung out with Max for a bit.

The following day we blessed Max.  It was such a great day!  I love it when all of our friends and family get together.  

Max wore the same shoes his daddy wore when he was blessed.

Kyle gave Max an incredibly sweet blessing.  It was a perfect day :)

But lets not forget the U2 CONCERT!!!  

We had so much fun!
